Sir, – I can’t be the only one who is reassured to read on the HSE website that the HSE Digital Transformation Group helps build health system-wide digital capability, capacity and competence. There is further guff to the effect that “our Digital Health ecosystem vision is our rapid adoption of eHealth technologies to support peoples (sic) health journey”.
The OECD saw through the smoke. Paul Cullen reports (News, November 8th) its finding that in the tech capital of Europe, where people have the third-highest level of digital skills, we rank last in the developed world for digital health policies. – Yours, etc,
