Sir, – I notice that while tut-tutting about the climate crisis and the perfidiousness of planting Sitka spruce due to it interfering with their enjoyment of “walking in the woods”, my friends then quickly become animated as they plan and describe their next holiday abroad (by plane, of course), which is usually the second, third or more trip this year. – Yours, etc,
