Sir, – Following UN secretary general Antonio Guterres’s extraordinary intervention (“UN secretary general warns of ‘collapse of humanitarian system’ and invokes rarely used UN article to push for ceasefire”, World, December 7th), a man who could hardly be better informed, it is not finally time for the world to make it clear Israel does not have impunity? This Government must expel the Israeli ambassador and institute a sanctions boycott on Israel now. – Yours, etc,
