Sir, – For some time now I have been puzzled by the fact that the reportedly huge advertising campaign conducted to publicise the RTÉ production Toy Show the Musical went completely over my head, despite reading at least one newspaper, and having radio on in the background for 10 hours, every day. I considered this may have been because I was far outside the targeted audience demographic.
However, that it seems to have also escaped the attention of the RTÉ board is a conundrum of Myles Na gCopaleenesque proportions. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Now that we are seeing the outcome of Toy Show the Musical, I am eagerly looking forward to RTÉ the Musical. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Hindsight is, of course, wonderful but perhaps it would be preferable had Toy Show the Musical been put on ice. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Is it too soon to suggest Toy Show the Musical – the Musical? – Yours, etc,

Sir, – I read that the idea for Toy Show the Musical was conceived as an idea before Covid, and worked on during Covid.
The idea was bananas and the outcome half baked.
Not much unlike the majority of the cakes that mysteriously turned up as gifts left on doorsteps during that crazy time. – Yours, etc,
