Sir, – I can understand Frank McNally’s concern about the grass going to waste in Trinity meadow (An Irishman’s Diary, February 13th).
Surely any Freeman of Dublin should be allowed to let their cattle, sheep or goats in to do a spot of lawnmowing. – Yours, etc,
