Sir, – In the week where the presumptive taoiseach Simon Harris TD calls on people to “take our flag back”, displays of our national flag in the nation’s capital are sadly few and far between. It is disheartening to see the flagpoles of iconic buildings such as the west front of Trinity College and the former Parliament House on College Green without flags.
Prominent historical and cultural buildings in other European capitals proudly fly their national flags.
