A chara, – When unit pricing is missing in supermarkets, price comparison is not possible between two identical products, one of which may be an own-brand, or specific products packaged or bottled in different weights or volumes.

But even in those instances where the unit price is displayed below the sale price, reading it becomes impossible either because of the minuscule size of type or the shelf label is at floor level. The weakness in the regulations lies in the fact that no particular type size is specified; ideally 14-point type size would suffice. Is it foolish to believe that inspectors exist to check this matter? – Yours, etc,
