Homework and teachers

A question of time

Letters to the Editor. Illustration: Paul Scott

Sir, – If there is no homework for students (Letters, May 4th), can teachers also be let off prep and corrections, most often done in the evening or weekend as the school day is too busy to get near them?

We must also commute, have dinner, exercise, run the house, and spend time with family and friends, as well as a good scroll. – Yours, etc,

NIAMH BYRNE,

Dublin 3.
