Sir, – It is wonderful to see a yellow-crowned night heron has found a happy home in Mayo after a very long journey (“Birdwatchers flock to Mayo after rare heron is spotted”, News, May 27th).
A rare event, it seems.
Now, if Sam could do likewise, this year, we would have a rare double for the county after another long journey. – Yours, etc,
