Sir, – It is such a pleasure to read Keith Duggan’s reports from the US, although the news is so often disheartening (”All hell breaks loose in Louisiana over new Ten Commandments law“, America Letter, World, June 22nd). His frequent references to American literature bring both the articles and the literature to life. – Yours, etc,
