Sir, – I would like to thank Sally Hayden for her article about cancer patients in Gaza (“Cancer patients are the quiet victims of Gaza war and West Bank occupation”, World, August 6th).
While it was a difficult read, it provided relatable and human faces to a conflict that can feel both overwhelming and far away. It was a timely reminder of our shared humanity. – Yours, etc,
