Sir, – Our flight from Aberdeen to Dublin on Saturday arrived on time, for which we were grateful. However, in Terminal 2, we waited one hour and 10 minutes for our luggage to arrive, that’s correct, 70 minutes. When is that acceptable in a so-called first-world country?
The “short of staff” excuse doesn’t cut it. This is peak summer travelling, The DAA’s job is to make travelling run smoothly. It was embarrassing. I watched young families, the elderly and infirm wait this intolerably long time for what should have been a routine service they had paid handsomely for. – Yours, etc,
