Sir, – The 46a bus is being replaced by the E2 on December 8th. When I was going to school, many years ago, I travelled on the 46a four times a day from Donnybrook to Foxrock. At that time we went home for our lunch.
Half way on the journey was Oatlands College. Many a potential romance began on that bus. “See you on the 46A” was a regular refrain. All very innocent stuff. Somehow “See you on the E2″ does not have the same ring to it. – Yours, etc,
