Madam, - I just had to put pen to paper in these times when there is such negative criticism regarding our healthcare services.
I was a patient in the A&E department at St James's Hospital and the nurses and doctors were just exceptional. I was admitted over the St Patrick's week and as one can imagine it was extremely busy but yet they were most attentive at all times, not just to me, but to everyone.
Minister Martin has to be commended as St James's Hospital is a credit to the healthcare system. It gives me great reassurance to know that there is a hospital of this calibre in our country.
In this era when there are so many complaints, I feel it necessary to give this hospital the public recognition it deserves. - Yours, etc.,
