Sir, - It seems incongruous that a Church/state can be so concerned about the unborn, and so unconcerned about the unwanted product. These children invariably find their way into homes and institutions, where they are abused in every way by members of the same Church which upholds abortion as a sin but abuses an unfortunate.
So stop the hypocrisy. Abortion - is a kindness, abandonment a cruelty. You abort once, but you abandon for ever, incurring untold suffering. - Yours, etc.,
