Sir, – I agree with points made by Michelle Gaynor of the independent living movement (Letters, October 11th), but what happens to people with disabilities who are in residential care for years and discharged without the appropriate supports or a home of their own, as has happened with my own daughter. What do they do? – Yours, etc,
