Sir, – Reading that Cardinal Newman's status is to be elevated to that of a saint (Home News, February 14th), it occurred to me that he must therefore have performed two verified miracles. If historians showed that he opened UCD on time and on budget, that should probably have covered both of them. – Yours, etc,
