Madam, Seán MacCarthaigh (May 30th) denies that "people who accept the existence of a God-given objective moral law. . .sit in judgment on other people". In his very next paragraph he announces that "it isn't OK to be single, sexually active and of a certain age". Hmm. Sounds a bit judgmental to me.
And how does he know that his "many acquaintances. . .practise and enjoy within marriage the sexuality that Christ raised to the dignity of a sacrament"? Does he ask them? I think we should be told. - Yours, etc,
