Sir, – If any of your readers are interested in the meaning of an "inverse correlation", they need only observe that the more scientists, academics, researchers and concerned citizens co-sign a letter calling for an indefinite lockdown (News, June 8th), the less likely it is that any of them will suffer a catastrophic loss of income as a result. – Yours, etc,
