Sir, – Further to Frank McDonald's article on Cork ("Cork's small problem – the real issue for the real capital is its size", Opinion & Analysis, April 7th), can I point out that the expression "the real capital" is only a joke and used to annoy, well, people like Frank.
In further news, people from Kerry do not think they live in a Kingdom, people from Kilkenny are not really Cats and as for people from Carlow being Fighting Cocks, well, I might just leave that one with him. – Yours, etc,
