Sir, - Medical science has long since shown that unwanted pregnancies are unnecessary.
However, over the years ignorance, lust and lack of suitable prophylactic legislation have negated this knowledge and resulted in a steady demand for abortion.
Men provoke pregnancies but cannot, either mentally or physically, endure a pregnancy. Therefore it appears inappropriate that men should participate in making decisions which directly affect (or effect!) abortions. For them to do so prolongs the social ill that is male supremacy. - Yours, etc.,
