Disabled driver parking permits

Madam, - There appears to be a misapprehension about a disabled driver's permit. The card is issued to a person, not a car. So if one transports an incapacitated relative or friend every now and then one cannot blithely park in a restricted area in the absence of the handicapped person.

This misuse of disabled parking spaces can be the only explanation for the number of lithe, supple bodies springing from cars complete with a disabled driver's parking permit,. - Yours, etc.,
