Sir, – Some €7 million has been allocated for the development of the Dodder river greenway. Perhaps some of the money could be set aside for a stilt-hiring booth. Regular walkers in the Templeogue and Firhouse area of the park must avoid a substantial sewage overflow which bursts onto the paths any time it rains heavily. On the most recent occasion a tape marked the area which the dogs and children, no doubt, obeyed. This issue has been ongoing for almost 20 years. – Yours, etc,
