Sir, - I was in the area of Pelican house last Friday and found myself with an hour or two to spare. Great, I thought, I'll donate blood. I walked into Pelican House and was informed the blood bank was closed on Fridays. However, a special clinic was open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. I believe that the Blood Transfusion Service is wasting money advertising for donors while taking this approach on opening hours. - Yours, etc.,
