Madam, - I went into one of our department stores on O'Connell Street recently and asked at the appropriate counter for a rain hat. The sales assistant, politely dismissive, informed me that it "was not the season" for rain hats.
Could someone please let me know when the rainy season will be so that I can make my purchase? - Yours, etc.,
