Madam, - The RTÉ TV News last Sunday showed a parade in Derry, led by the national flags of both the UK and the Republic of Ireland, to commemorate the dead of the first World War battle of Messines. Later the News covered a GAA match at Crossmaglen between two Northern Ireland clubs. But the only national flag I could see at Crossmaglen was that of another jurisdiction, the Tricolour of the Republic of Ireland. Despite its All Ireland pretensions, the GAA seems content to remain a "cold place" for unionists. - Yours, etc,
