A Chara, - In response to B. Redmond (June 24th), Austin Deasy did not "question the whole approach to the traveller question" because, had he done so, Mr Deasy would have questioned the inadequacy of halting sites, he would have urged services to become more user friendly to the travelling community, he would have challenged our prejudices.
Instead, Mr Deasy pondered how the increase in traveller, numbers might be controlled. Interferring with the birth rate of an ethnic minority. . . that rings a historical bell for me, apparently not for Mr Redmond? - Yours, etc.,
