Sir, - The impounding of the Ryanair plane at Manchester (The Irish Times, June 19th) suggests that Manchester Airport seem to have learned the cut of Ryanair's gib. Perhaps I too should have attempted to impound the plane when I flew from Dublin to Stansted last year, but was left, with the entire complement of passengers, high and dry in Luton, with Ryanair subsequently refusing to take any responsibility, or to pay the £9 bus and train fare to get to the destination I had paid them for. - Yours, etc., Eamonn Croke,
Crofton Gate Way, London SE4.
