Sir, - How can we welcome to our shores a football team which, in effect, represents a dictator who is now in the process of being internationally indicted for crimes against humanity? And how can anyone with a shred of decency and integrity stand to hear the national anthem of Yugoslavia being played on June 5th in Lansdowne Road under such circumstances?
If UEFA insists that this game go ahead it is surely the public's duty, both as a matter of principle and as a gesture of solidarity with the long-suffering people of Kosovo, to refrain from attending on the day. - Yours, etc., Michael J. Cassidy,
