A chara, – On returning from my nephew’s wedding in the Hague lately I was able to leave my baggage in Amsterdam Central Station whilst visiting my brother in the city.
When I got back to Dublin there was no left-luggage facility in Heuston Station. I was directed to a facility in Tipperary House on Parkgate Street “a five-minute walk away”.
By the time I trundled down the quays I was soaked and exhausted. After finishing my business in Dublin I repeated the experience and boarded my train for Kerry a very dissatisfied customer.
What problem does Iarnród Éireann have that its Dutch counterparts have solved?
