Sir, - In your edition of June 22nd, a notice appeared from the Revenue Commissioners regarding the state of play in post-duty-free Europe. However, on perusing this, I noticed a chink in the armour. Apparently, it will still be in order to purchase goods free of duty, provided that these are consumed in transit. So there's hope yet.
