Sir, – In your editorial, Wed 21 Sep of September 21st, you write that Micheál Martin has shown considerable flair on the issue of water charges. I beg to differ. My dictionary defines flair as an " instinct for what is excellent". I suggest that what Mr Martin and his party have shown on this matter is an instinct for what is cynical, devious, opportunistic and populist. – Yours, etc,
