Sir, - My wife and I have recently returned from a lovely trip to Ireland. I may sincerely say that you have a marvellous country, fine, friendly people, good accommodation and even edible food.
However (isn't there always an however?), for elderly people there is simply no place along the streets to sit down and rest in the bracing air.
Wouldn't it be pleasant to have several benches, say, on Grafton Street or Dame Street? There are many little alleys or covered areas where a relaxing bench might be located. - Yours, etc.,
Sidney G. Aron, 215th Street, Queens Village, New York, USA.
