Sir, – Further to the question of shrinking seats on airlines ("Researchers find ways to cut air travel time", News, June 19th), after a recent experience in which I had to endure a session of elbow jousting with my rather large neighbour in row 12 on an Airbus, I think that the solution lies in shrinking the passengers, not the seats. – Yours, etc,
