Sir, – Isn't it ironic that a business group giving out about the pedestrianisation of certain city streets ("Wealthy shoppers deterred from Dublin city, says business group", News, August 9th) has taken its name from the lyrics of "The Dublin Saunter". Wouldn't Dublin be more like heaven if there were less diesel particulates overpowering the magic in the air? – Yours, etc,
