Sir, - One aspect of the proposed new stadium which appears to have been overlooked is that the two existing stadiums, namely Croke Park and Lansdowne Road, represent the two most hideous and overwhelming structures in Dublin. The artist's impression of the new stadium seems to indicate that it will follow the same pattern as its two predecessors.
All such stadiums should be constructed by excavating rather than building above ground level. In other words, they should be buried. - Yours, etc.,
