Sir, – One way to reduce Leaving Cert stress would be to make it as interesting as possible for the student, by reducing the number of subjects to just three or four electives(much like the British A-Levels), as opposed to our current seven or eight (of which three are compulsory).
This would allow the students to focus exclusively on subjects that are both of interest to them and actually relevant to their planned further education. – Yours, etc,
