Sir, - The inclusion of Ms Celia Larkin's name with Mr Ahern's on the invitation to the cardinal raises four points in my mind:
1. Does Mr Ahern reflect on the offence he could be giving to many of the married women in the country? Think of the votes!
2. If Mr Ahern were divorced and married to Ms Larkin, would the cardinal and the Dean of St Patrick's have any problem here?
3. If Jesus were living now, would He accept a similar invitation?
