Madam, – Ninety-four years ago, the Republic declared its resolve to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and of all its parts, cherishing all the children of the nation equally, and oblivious of the differences carefully fostered by an alien government.
The Green Party and Fianna Fail (the Republican Party!), are the alien government of 2010. The people of Ireland should disavow their four-year plan and replace it with a six-year plan for ourselves, the Irish nation.
Only then will those charged with implementing that plan, our leaders, be able to reaffirm Pearse’s words with a semblance of conviction, 100 years on. – Yours, etc,
