Sir, - I notice that on a number of occasions recently in The Irish Times, Ryanair was referred to as a second-line stock. But it hardly merits such a description any more. Given the appreciation in the share price and the expansion of the company in recent years, it is now the ninth largest stock on the market, with a market capitalisation of more than €1.5 billion (£1.18 billion). A leading industrial would seem to be a more accurate description. Regards,

Robbie Kelleher, Head of research, Davy Stockbrokers.
