A chara, – Laura Egar’s confidence in our school children’s ability to create innovative proposals to leverage our State assets (February 28th) is to be applauded.
If Ruairí Quinn’s Department of Education were to embrace this idea, a random 20 such proposals might form the basis of an electronic plebiscite which could be put to the entire country (not just the electorate) with the help of Phil Hogan’s Department of the Environment.
