A Chara, - The Shot at Dawn Campaign, whose express aim is to secure pardons for British, Commonwealth and Irish-born soldiers executed by the British military authorities during the first World War, have requested the Irish Seamen's Relatives Association (1939-46) to assist in a search for Irish relatives of 6/227, Private Patrick Downey,10th Div, 6th Leinster Regiment, aged 19 years,executed on the 27/12/1915 from Limerick and 26248 Private J Wishart, 16th Div, 7th Inniskilling Fusiliers,aged 24 years executed on the 5/6/1917 believed to be from Omagh, Co Fermanagh. At this year's Remembrance Sunday on Cenotaph Parade it is hoped to invite all relatives of those executed to participate. - Yours, etc.,
