Setting a boundary

Madam, - A headline in your edition of August 27th reads: "Population of Ireland to reach 6.7 million by 2060"

Madam, - A headline in your edition of August 27th reads: "Population of Ireland to reach 6.7 million by 2060". I suggest your report is at best ambiguous and at worse misleading. Do you mean the 32-county Ireland, which would include places such as my home town of Belfast, or are you referring to the Irish (free) State only? Perhaps I am naïve, but I still consider the place of my birth to be part of Ireland. - Yours, etc,
