Madam, – Your edition of January 28th reports tells us that Irish consumers are paying a mark-up of 51 per cent on many goods compared with UK prices. Last week it was announced that Dublin Bus plans to shed 290 jobs and reduce the fleet by 120 buses.
So the solution is obvious. Save the Dublin Bus jobs and buses by running daily shopping excursions to the North! – Yours, etc,
