Sir, - Yet another St Patrick's Festival is upon us and, to our shame, there is still no visible monument to our patron saint in Dublin's O'Connell Street. It seems that this year we will have more demons, witches and massive fireworks, but no proper tribute to St Patrick.
It's no wonder that our Government ministers are leaving the country to get away from this festival mayhem and are going to New York and other places where St Patrick is honoured with dignity and respect. - Yours, etc.,
