Sir, – I travelled to Dublin last week to see family, taking a taxi from Dublin Airport to Kilbarrack Road. Despite my protestations, the taxi-driver drove via Whitehall, Killester and Clontarf. Might I suggest fixed-price tariffs from Dublin Airport? Taxi-drivers can then drive the “scenic route” at their own expense. – Yours, etc,
