Sir, - In "The Advice Box" (E&L, February 22nd) Ms Pat Rees describes how some parents left their teenage daughter and a group of her friends to have a party in their house and "of course they all got drunk".
Obviously Ms Rees is basing her negative opinion of teenagers on her own personal knowledge of teenage behaviour and I feel this casts some doubt on her eligibility to dispense advice to anyone on this matter.
Perhaps Ms Rees should not judge all on her knowledge of a few. - Yours, etc.,
