Madam, – As a regular visitor to the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Imma) in Dublin, I was horrified to arrive at their car park last month to the sight of a clamper clamping a car.
I thought this must be some form of artistic performance, but no. Small signs did indeed indicate the car park is now under the watch of a private company.
Imma was one of the last “free spaces” where people could come and peacefully view art, walk in the gardens and have lunch without having to plan how long was needed to do so.
All-day parking could be prevented with a little imagination! – Yours, etc,
