Madam, - Ted O'Keeffe (March 29th) writes that "housing is a necessity of life, just like milk and bread", but that private property has been allowed to become a speculative investment which has inflated the market.
He closes by saying it needs "somebody in authority" to help rectify this scandal; but the people in authority are probably property investors. - Yours, etc.,
