Sir, - Eilish Sheridan ( December 21st) is surprised and disappointed by Celia Larkin's appearances during the recent Clinton visit. She calls on the Taoiseach to "give us a lead in upholding the values that have always been an integral part of our Irish nation".
What values? Appearing in public with one's own wife, while lavishly entertaining someone else's wife as the "establishment" turns a blind eye?
